8. Hit the Water at Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA)

BLORA’s a local fave. You’ve got swimming, kayaking, camping, and even horseback riding. It’s run by MWR, so check for military discounts if you’re eligible.

9. Visit Summer Farmers Markets (All Over)

Support local farmers and vendors while snagging fresh fruits, veggies, homemade snacks, and cool crafts. Killeen, Temple, and Belton all have markets on different days worth checking out.

10. Check Out a Free Community Event or Festival
